PSTrax / Bound Tree integration
The integration between PSTrax and Bound Tree Medical provides negotiated contract pricing, ordering, and order tracking within the Procurement module.
Overview
PSTrax has worked with Bound Tree Medical, one of the largest EMS and medical supply distributors in the U.S., to develop an integration between Bound Tree's supply catalog and PSTrax's Procurement module. This is PSTrax's second procurement vendor integration, joining the existing Life-Assist integration. This allows our shared customers to:
- Enroll their department using their existing Bound Tree customer account, directly inside PSTrax.
- See their negotiated Bound Tree contract pricing within the standard PSTrax catalog.
- Submit purchase orders directly to Bound Tree from within PSTrax, instead of using the Bound Tree portal.
- Track Bound Tree order status, tracking numbers, and tracking links from within PSTrax.
This is not a new module. The integration runs through your existing PSTrax Procurement workflow and requires that your department is using the Supplies/Procurement modules.
Pricing
The integration with Bound Tree's product catalog is offered at no additional cost to PSTrax customers using the Supplies/Procurement modules.
How It Works
Once your department is enrolled, your contracted Bound Tree products will appear in PSTrax's Product List at your negotiated contract pricing — including the product name, description, price, and more. Pricing and catalog data for enrolled departments are refreshed on an ongoing basis.
Products are linked to your Supplies items and added to your cart exactly the same way as with other Procurement vendors, so you can place orders across multiple vendors from a single workflow. When you check out, you select the shipping address stored with your Bound Tree account, and PSTrax submits the order directly to Bound Tree.
After an order is placed, you can track its status from within PSTrax. Order statuses include OPEN, FULFILLED, and VOIDED, and individual items show statuses such as IN PROCESS, BACKORDERED, and FULFILLED. Tracking numbers and tracking URLs are displayed as clickable links on fulfilled orders, so you can follow a shipment without leaving PSTrax or contacting your rep.
