System Updates - September 2025

Here's what we've been working on...

VEHICLES & STATIONS

  • Fixed a bug where Transfer Checklists were not displaying certain characters properly when returning items.

SCBA / PPE / ASSETS

  • Added a "PPE Technician" role, which has more functionality than a PPE User, but not as much as a PPE Admin. The role can log inspections on all gear (not just the gear belonging to the user), edit gear information, and assign gear from one user to another. You can a find full breakdown in our PSTrax user permissions guide. Please contact us if you'd like this level enabled for your agency.
  • Built a feature where the In-Service Date can be automatically added/updated each time an agency assigns PPE to a user. This is handy for departments that use the In-Service Date as the last issue date. Click here to see how it works and contact us if you'd like this enabled for your agency.
  • On the SCBA Gear List, we changed “Next Flow” to “Next Flow Due” and “Next Hydro” to “Next Hydro Due” to make the meaning a bit more clear.

  • In the PPE alert email notifications, we added a line with the "Home Station" information of the user's gear, so supervisors know where to pick it up or send it.

SUPPLIES & PROCUREMENT

  • Fixed a bug where PDF export was not rendering properly on the procurement Cart and Add to Cart pages.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES

  • All controlled substance events can now be configured to be done by Full Admin only, by Full Admin and Medic Admin, or by all users with access to the Controlled Substances module (Full Admin + Medic Admin + Medics). Previously, when an event was flagged as admin, it included both Full Admin and Medic Admin. But now if you want a "Restock from Vendor" event to only be done by Full Admin (for instance), that's possible. Please contact us and we can help set this up in your system.

OTHER

  • Fixed an issue where accented characters were not rendering properly in alert emails.
