Setting up CS alert recipients
Make sure the appropriate users are set to receive notifications when issues occur.
Summary
Alert recipients in the Controlled Substance module are users who receive email or text notifications whenever an issue, discrepancy, or malfunction is reported during an inspection or transaction. These alerts can be triggered automatically—such as when a log is edited by a supervisor—or manually during an event. Administrators can customize who receives alerts based on the container, ensuring that the correct personnel are notified immediately when issues arise.
Instructions
Controlled Substance alert recipients are managed at the container level, with options for both required and optional recipients. Required recipients are automatically notified of all alerts related to their assigned containers, including system-generated alerts. Optional recipients must be manually selected during an alert submission. Admins can manage recipients individually by container or apply changes to all containers at once.
