Logging a CS transfer
Log when controlled substances are transferred from one internal location to another - like from a station vault into a vehicle's drug box.
Summary
Medics can restock controlled substances from an internal location, such as a vault or vending machine, using the transfer event. This process ensures that controlled substances are properly tracked and restocked according to agency policies. The system requires users to select a source container, specify the destination container, and log vial details.
Instructions
To log a transfer, navigate to Perform Controlled Substances Check, select the transfer event, and identify the source and destination containers. Enter the quantity of vials being transferred, verify control numbers, and complete the process with signatures if required. Once logged, the system updates inventory levels accordingly.

Completing the Transfer
-
If PINs are enabled, enter the PIN to unlock the signature field.
-
The witness enters their PIN and signature to confirm the transfer.
-
