Understand attachments types and restrictions within PSTrax.
Attachments can be added to alerts, checklists, and logs in any of the PSTrax modules. While there is no limit to the number of attachments that can be added to your system, there are restrictions around the acceptable file types and sizes for each attachment that is uploaded into PSTrax.
Acceptable file types
The following file types can be loaded into PSTrax:
- JPEG (.jpeg) - Commonly used for photographs and images with gradients.
- PNG (.png) - Suitable for images requiring transparency.
- GIF (.gif) - Ideal for short animations and simple graphics.
- TIFF (.tiff) - Preferred for high-quality image storage.
- WEBP (.webp) - Optimized for high-quality web images with smaller file sizes.
- PDF (.pdf) - Versatile format for documents that maintain formatting across different devices.
- MP4 (.mp4) - Widely used for video files.
- DOCX (.docx) - Microsoft Word documents.
- XLSX (.xlsx) - Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- PPTX (.pptx) - Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
Size limitation
Each file attachment cannot exceed 20MB.
