NAVIGATION
The navigation panel got a facelift and some new features, including:
- Icon tray with flyout navigation - On larger devices (computers and tablets), an icon tray is fixed to the left side of the page. This takes up less space than the expanded navigation while letting you quickly access the pages you want. Note that on smaller devices - like phones - there is no icon tray; the navigation panel is accessed by clicking the ☰ icon in the upper left corner.
- Searchable station selection via dropdown - To change stations, you can now select from a dropdown list, instead of navigating to a different page. You can also search for a station in the list, which is especially handy for agencies with a lot of stations.
- Department logo display - Your organization's logo will display in the upper left corner in the icon tray. When expanded, you'll see your organization's name in addition to the logo. Click on either to go to your home page.
- Highlighted current page - The navigation panel will highlight the current section and page you're on so you can keep track of where you're at.
- Pin expanded navigation - If you prefer to have the navigation panel expanded, click on the icon next to the PSTrax logo to pin it open.
DASHBOARDS (BETA)
The Dashboard feature allows users to access a personal dashboard to see pertinent information at-a-glance. It can be customized with widgets from our ever-expanding library, providing real-time insights tailored to each user's role. While the Dashboard is enabled by default for all users, admin can turn it off for specific users via the User Settings (Settings > Personnel > User List > Manage Users > Edit).

The Dashboard feature is being released in beta to all users who wish to try it. We plan to add more widgets and fine-tune the functionality over the next few months based on user feedback. If you would like to provide any feedback to help improve the product, please contact us.
PROCUREMENT (BETA)
Procurement is a standalone feature integrated within the Supplies module, designed to streamline your purchasing process. It allows you to easily track, order, and receive supplies. You can create purchase orders to submit directly to your vendors and then update the order as you receive and restock the items.
Many organizations we work with have been requesting a procurement feature to "close the loop" on their supply tracking. With the Supplies module, users can flag when items need to be reordered and then restock it when those items come in. Procurement closes the loop by allowing you to create and track the status of the supply orders.

OTHER
- We changed the count of checks due that display on the home screen for Vehicles and Stations. Instead of highlighting the total number of tasks due, we now display the number of checklists that are due. So if I have Daily and Weekly Checks due totaling 150 tasks, we show that there are 2 checks due on that vehicle. When users click into the number, they'll see both checklists (Daily and Weekly) with all 150 tasks to check off.
We made this change based on feedback from many clients that said showing a large number of tasks was overwhelming users. But, it's important to note, that you can still see both the number of checks AND tasks due via the Fleet Status Report (Table) (in the navigation panel under VEHICLE & STATION).
NOTE: If you prefer to see the number of tasks in addition to the number of checklists (like in the image below), contact us and we can make that change for you. - A new page has been added for admin to rearrange stations into the order of their choosing. To do this, go to Settings > Personnel > Reorder Stations.
- We added a new report to track mileage and hours readings. The Odometer/Hours Report shows the current odometer, engine hours, pump hours, and aerial hours for each vehicle. It can be accessed under Vehicle & Station > Logs & Reports. Click here to learn how it works.
