Viewing PPE logs & reports

View logged inspections, upcoming expiration dates, repair costs, and more.

Summary

PSTrax provides a historical record of all PPE events, including inspections, status changes, assignments, and repairs. These logs are fully searchable and exportable, allowing administrators to track the entire lifecycle of each piece of gear from purchase to retirement.

Instructions

To access PPE logs and reports, navigate to PPE → Logs & Reports in the navigation panel. From there, you can view event logs, expiration reports, and repair cost summaries, ensuring all PPE remains up to date and properly maintained.

Viewing PPE Logs & Event History

  1. Navigate to PPE → Logs & Reports from the navigation panel.

  2. Select either:

    • Logs – View all PPE events, including inspections, repairs, and status changes.
    • Logs by Task – Sort and filter logs based on individual PPE tasks.
  3. Use the search bar or column filters to locate specific gear, dates, or event types.

  4. (Optional) Adjust the view by hiding columns you don’t need.

  5. Export data as a print document, Excel file, or PDF.

Viewing Full History for a Specific PPE Item

  1. Find the gear item in PPE → Gear List.

  2. Click Details next to the item.

  3. Set the date range and click View to display:

    • Inspections
    • Alerts
    • Status changes
    • Repairs and maintenance records

Additional PPE Reports

  1. Expiration Date Report – Identifies gear nearing expiration for proactive replacement.

  2. Cost Report – Tracks repair expenses for PPE items over time.
