The Station Home page

The Station Home page gives you an overview of the status of your apparatus, equipment, and inventories assigned to the station. You can see the checks that are due, new and updated alerts, and recent journal posts.

Getting to know the Station Home page

  1. Navigation - Access the full menu for additional settings and reports.
  2. Station - Displays the current station you are viewing. To change stations, click the Change link next to the station name.
  3. Checks - Summarizes the Vehicle, Station, PPE, SCBA, Assets, Supplies, and Controlled Substances inspections that are currently due, with options to log as-needed checks. 
    1. # Vehicle checks shows the due Vehicle & Station inspections.
    2. # SCBA checks shows the due SCBA (packs, cylinders, RIT, etc.) inspections that are assigned to the Vehicle / Station.
    3. # Assets checks shows the due Asset items (radios, TICs, hose, etc.) inspections that are assigned to the Vehicle / Station.
    4. # Assets checks shows the due Asset items (radios, TICs, hose, etc.) inspections that are assigned to the Vehicle / Station.
    5. # alerts shows the open alerts for that Vehicle / Station.
    6. PPE inspections and open alerts will show under the PPE section in gold. Checks are filtered by user - each user will see the inspections due on gear that is assigned to them. Inspections can also be performed as-needed (i.e. post-incident) by clicking the As-Needed Check link.
    7. SCBA inspections that aren't tied to the on-truck check (i.e. air fills, hydro testing, flow testing, etc.) - and open alerts for SCBA gear - is displayed in the SCBA section in orange.
    8. Assets inspections that aren't tied to the on-truck check (i.e. repairs, custom events, etc.) - and open alerts for Assets - is displayed in the Assets section in green.
    9. The Perform Controlled Substances Check link can be clicked any time to log a narcotics event (inventory count, use/remove, transfer, add/restock).
    10. The Perform Supplies Check link can be clicked any time to log a supplies event (inventory count, usage, transfer, restock).
  4. Alerts - Displays all open alerts for each module. To view alerts for different modules, click the colored tabs. 
  5. Journal - Acts as a digital whiteboard where users can pass on notices and other pertinent information. Journal posts will display for a certain time frame (default is 7 days) unless the post is archived earlier.

Experience simplified browsing, no matter what device you're using. The site is designed to be responsive, automatically adjusting to match your device's dimensions. On smaller screens such as phones or tablets, the Checks, Alerts, and Journal sections are organized into swipeable tabs - so no more pinching & zooming.
