System Updates - July 2025

Here's what we've been working on...

VEHICLES & STATIONS

  • When selecting a darker background color on a vehicle or station card (more info on that here), the text will display in white so you can read it easier.
  • When setting an alert from the Open Alerts by Apparatus page, the alert will default to the selected vehicle. 

SCBA / PPE / ASSETS

  • When adding PPE to the system, the Assignment field is now empty, rather than defaulting to “Unassigned”. This way users are required to select a value, which will hopefully lead to fewer data errors.
  • Fixed bug on the SCBA, PPE, and Assets Lists that was causing display issues with the horizontal scroll bar on some Windows devices. The scroll bar should display pinned to the bottom of the window, rather than at the very bottom of the table results.

  • Fixed a bug where some columns in the table view on PPE Details & History were slightly misaligned.

SUPPLIES & PROCUREMENT

  • Sped up the Expiration Date Report and Logs (Supplies > Logs & Reports) so they load the page and resulting data more quickly.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES

  • Added a feature that, when performing vial transfers, we now display information about the quantities and par levels of each drug in the destination container, as well as give a warning if the quantity to be transferred would make the destination exceed its max par level. 

    Please note that the system WILL allow more drugs to be transferred beyond what the max level is set to, assuming that's what is physically being done. We just want to notify users and reduce potential errors. CS Admin can adjust the min and max levels on each container by following these instructions.

  • To avoid a bug and simplify the user experience, we made a modification to the CS vial transfer event where only drug types that are in common between both the source and destination containers will be shown. So when transferring from Container A and Container B, if Container A has Fentanyl, Versed, and Rocuronium, and Container B has Fentanyl and Versed, only Fentanyl and Versed will show in the event.

OTHER

  • Fixed a bug where alert attachment thumbnails weren't displaying properly on the home page.

  • Fixed a bug on the User Access List (Settings > Personnel) where the access date column was sorting alphanumerically instead of by date/time.
