System Updates - April 2023

In this article

GENERAL

  • The Inventory module is now called the Supplies module. "Supplies" better refers to what the system is designed to track - consumable EMS and station supplies. This is a name change only; none of the functionality of the module is affected.
  • For agencies utilizing the SSO feature, we added the option to automatically log users out of the provider when logging out of PSTrax. To enable this feature, admin can navigate to Settings > Personnel > SSO Settings.
  • Added support for additional identity providers, including Okta and Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS).

VEHICLE & STATION

  • We fixed an issue causing some users to receive an error message when completing vehicle / station checks. The issue was intermittent and was due in large part to internet connectivity. As a best practice, log your checks often. That way if you get a call or drop your connection, you don't lose your work.
  • Various bug fixes, performance improvements, and security enhancements.

SCBA / PPE / ASSETS

  • Gear can now be added directly from the Gear List using the green (+) button. Multiple items can be added by clicking the "Add Multiple" button in the upper right of the add gear window.
  • Admin can now edit or delete log entries made in error. Click here for a video tutorial on how to do this.
  • Admin have the ability to batch delete gear from the Gear List. Select your items and then click Batch > Delete.
  • Links to the gear details - from the Gear List and logs/reports - will open in a new tab, instead of redirecting to a new page. This is to help keep your place on the screen when looking through multiple records, instead of having to reset the search every time you navigate away from the page.
  • Attachments now appear in their own column in the SCBA, PPE, and Assets logs.
  • A column for Description has been to the SCBA & PPE logs, so you can see gear details without having to go into the Gear List.
  • Various bug fixes, performance improvements, and security enhancements.

SUPPLIES

  • The Inventory module is now called the Supplies module. "Supplies" better refers to what the system is designed to track - consumable EMS and station supplies. This is a name change only; none of the functionality of the module is affected.
  • Several of the admin pages - Manage Items, Manage Containers, and Manage Vendors - have been reformatted for a better navigation and user interface experience.
  • We fixed an issue on the Supplies List that was excluding certain items from showing in the search results.
  • Various bug fixes, performance improvements, and security enhancements.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES

  • Links to the vial details on the Vial List and Vial Archive will open in a new tab, instead of redirecting to a new page. This is to help keep your place on the screen when looking through multiple records, instead of having to reset the search every time you navigate away from the page.
