Setting up supply alert recipients

Make sure the appropriate users are set to receive notifications when items go below their minimum levels.

Summary

Alert recipients in the Supplies module are users who receive email or text notifications when an issue is identified during an inventory event. PSTrax allows you to assign recipients per container, ensuring the right people are notified when action is needed.


Instructions

To manage alert recipients, go to Settings → Supplies → Alert Recipients. Each container can have its own set of recipients, divided into Required (always notified) and Optional (selectable during manual alert entry). You can assign recipients on a container-by-container basis or apply them across all containers at once.


Managing Inventory Alert Recipients

  1. Navigate to Settings → Supplies → Alert Recipients.

  2. Locate the container you want to configure.

  3. Click the dropdown arrow next to the container name and select Select Recipients for This Container.

  4. Choose your recipients from two lists:

    • Required Recipients – These users will always receive alerts for this container.

    • Optional Recipients – These users will be available to select when someone posts a manual alert.

  5. Click Save once your selections are made.


Assigning Recipients to All Containers

  1. In the top right corner, click Select Recipients for All Containers.

  2. Choose required and optional users just as you would for an individual container.

  3. Click Save to apply the recipients to all containers.
