Scheduling a supply inventory count
Schedule when and how often to perform inventory counts.
Summary
Inventory checks in PSTrax can be scheduled to occur at regular intervals—daily, weekly, monthly, or at any custom frequency. This guide explains how to set up the inspection interval and next due date for a supply container from the Manage Containers page.
Instructions
To schedule recurring inventory checks, navigate to Settings → Supplies → Manage Containers. From there, you can configure how often a check occurs (the interval), and when it should begin (the next due date). Once scheduled, these checks will appear on the Home Screen and reset automatically after each time they're logged.
Setting Up Scheduled Inventory Counts

Go to Settings → Supplies → Manage Containers.

Find the container you want to schedule.

Under the Interval column, click the current interval or the “None” link.

Choose the interval type (e.g., Weekly) and set the repeat frequency.

Example: Repeat every 1 week on Sunday.

Click Save to confirm the interval.

Next, under the Next Due Date column, click the Scheduled Checks Deactivated link.

Select the appropriate start date from the calendar.

For a weekly Sunday check, be sure to select a Sunday as the start date.

Once activated, the check will appear in the schedule:

Unit-assigned containers: The check will appear as a link under the unit on the Home Screen.

Station-assigned containers: The check will appear on the Scheduled Inventory Check list under Perform Inventory Check.

When the check is due:

Click into the inventory check from the Home Screen or Schedule page.

Update quantities as needed and click Log Items.

The event will automatically reschedule to the next due date (e.g., the following Sunday).
