Pin Journal Posts and Require User Acknowledgement
Help your crews stay informed about essential information.
Summary
PSTrax has introduced two powerful features to the journal to ensure crews never miss critical updates: Pin Post and Required User Acknowledgments. The Pin Post feature allows essential updates to remain at the top of the journal regardless of when they were created, ensuring immediate access to high-priority information. Required User Acknowledgments boost accountability by requiring users to confirm they have reviewed a message before they can perform any other activity within the PSTrax system.
Instructions
To utilize these new features, journal managers create a new post and select the appropriate configuration checkboxes. For pinned posts, selecting the Pin Post option ensures the entry stays at the top of the frame, organized by date if multiple posts are pinned. For mandatory updates, enabling the Required User Acknowledgment option triggers a prompt that prevents further system activity until the user acknowledges the post. Managers can then track compliance by viewing a generated list of crew members who have reviewed the update.
