Adding SCBA gear

Add new equipment to your SCBA inventory.

 

 

Summary

SCBA administrators can add new gear to PSTrax at any time using the Add Gear feature. This process allows for either individual or batch entry, and administrators can update gear information later as needed. PSTrax also offers to load gear for you if you prefer to send your gear data to the support team.


Instructions

To add SCBA gear into PSTrax, navigate to Settings → SCBA → Add Gear. You can input as much information as you have available. Missing details can always be added later through the gear list. For bulk additions, use the Add Multiple option, which allows rows to auto-populate with the previous entry’s data—requiring only the unique fields to be updated.


Adding SCBA Gear

  1. Go to Settings → SCBA → Add Gear.

  2. Fill in the available information for the new gear item.

  3. Click Save to add a single item.

  4. To add multiple items:

    • Click Add Multiple in the top-right corner.

    • As you enter new rows, the system will auto-fill previous information.

    • Update only the unique fields (e.g., serial number or internal ID).

  5. Click Save when all items have been added.


Optional: PSTrax Gear Import Service

If your department receives a shipment of new SCBA gear, you can email the gear information to help@pstrax.com and the PSTrax team will upload it into the system for you.
